Accessibility Audits

Accessibility Audits

Where can I go?

How many of you dread the call from someone with a particular requirement – can you give them the information they need?

We’ve helped Scottish Natural Heritage, the Countryside Council for Wales and numerous individual authorities collect information so that they can answer that question, whoever asks.

We’ve developed systems for auditing sites and routes to record the physical, sensory and intellectual accessibility of sites, providing the information people need to help them decide whether or not they want to, or are able to visit. We’re working with the Countryside Council for Wales to develop systems for delivering accessibility information in a consistent and easy to use format, accessible to everyone.

We can also provide an independent assessment of whether work you have done meets the requirements of particular groups, and make practical recommendations for improvements you can carry out to increase the accessibility of your site.

We’ve worked on all the National Nature Reserves in Scotland and Wales – we’ve measured more then a few gradients and read a few signs ... we’re pretty sure no–one has done as much accessibility auditing as we have – but we’re always happy to do more.
