Professional Support
Everyone needs help sometimes ...
... either because they haven’t got the time to do the job properly themselves, or because they haven’t the skills and experience. We’re here to take those difficult tasks off your desk. We’ll provide experienced people with all the necessary skills, and enough time, to help you get the job done – whatever it is.
What can we do? Here’s a list of some of the most recent things, but we can probably do whatever you ask – and if we can’t we’ll help you find someone who can.
- We've reviewed and evaluated Rights of Way Improvements Plans producing a comprehensive report for Natural England on the quality and scope of the Plans , the overall process and its impact.
- We are currently working with Natural England to review the management of National Trails and strategic recreational routes in England.
- We spoke on the importance of linking spatial thinking with sustainable practice for architecture week (June 2007) - for more information visit the Space Syntax website.
- Writing policy – we have worked with national bodies on developing policies for National Trails.
- Good practice – we designed and managed the rights of way good practice guide website.
- We’re advising the Countryside Council for Wales on how to provide accessibility information to the public.
- We wrote supplementary guidance on preparing a Rights of Way Improvement plan for DEFRA ⁄ Natural England.
- We’ve trained local authority staff across the country on subjects including ROWIPs, improving access for all, consultation techniques.
- We’re supporting LAF members helping them be more effective.
- We’re helping authorities deliver aspects of their ROWIPs.
- We’ve written consultation schedules for national consultations.
- The list goes on – see our case studies for more details on these and many more projects.
Even if you just need help to plan a project, or for a small part of a big scheme give us a ring. We’re great at breaking big scary tasks down into manageable chunks, giving you the option which bits you do, and which you ask us or someone else to do.
It’s always worth asking us – if we can’t do it we’ll be honest and tell you.
