Training

Everyone needs to keep on learning – and that includes us.

We really enjoy running training, and we are confident that you’ll enjoy it too. We plan training to meet your needs, and to be fun!

We will get you talking to each other, running round, cutting up newspapers, using hundreds of post–its and eating home made cake (if you’re lucky). You won’t be sitting in a darkened room watching endless powerpoints all day.

We’ve provided training to loads of people on a wide range of subjects including:

• Rights of way improvement plan training covering a whole range of topics.
• When we run training we aim to inspire and motivate. We have run a number of training events for Local Access Forum members recently. Comments from delegates have included “Since the training event the LAF is so much more proactive, it has completely changed the way they are working! The Access Company always do a good job, but this has been one of the best.”  Other Local Access Forum training across the country has included events on ‘Making the LAF effective’ ‘How to manage meetings’ and technical information specifically aimed at LAF members.
• We’ve trained people to carry out accessibility audits, and condition surveys, and user surveys ...
• We’ve run team development days.
• We run events to help senior management teams work more effectively with elected members.
