Following our successful delivery of the foot and mouth welcome back campaign we were asked to develop the publicity campaign for the new Countryside Code.
The Countryside Code had become outdated resulting in many different organisations producing their own version which led to confusion amongst the public about what they could do and where in the countryside.
We wrote a communications plan and made contact with all relevant national organisations in the countryside to encourage their endorsement of a new code. We designed a new logo and the strapline "Respect, Protect, Enjoy" and helped coordinate a national promotion campaign throughout England and Wales. We also developed a fun kids version of the code that was promoted through a series of games and quizzes online.
The Code, logo, and strapline were fully endorsed by all relevant organisations and the communications strategy implemented across England and Wales with the support of all highway authorities, national parks and access organisations.
