ITV were keen to develop a national campaign to get more people active linking all their regional television networks to help tackle the growing obesity epidemic.
We provided direct advice and contacts to develop the Britain on the Move campaign. We established and ran National Walking Day gaining the personal support of the Minister for Transport and other MPs.
The campaign was launched in the House of Commons and supported by MPs from every party. The website was independently evaluated by the British Heart Foundation as making one of the most significant impacts to supporting more everyday activity. The Access Company attended the national PR Awards and collected Best Campaign in partnership with ITV. National Walking Day has continued to be supported and delivered by The Access Company every year for the last four years.
