Leaflets are great. When they’re good they simply make you want to go there, the pictures are beautiful, the people are happy, the scenery is stunning, the path looks inviting – how hard can it be to make one?
Well, actually pretty hard! There’s always too much to say, or the pictures don’t quite convey the right message, or the logos look wrong, or the map doesn’t work. Then you have to think about the print costs, and the weight of paper, and the folds. Then remember to consider the DDA – is it as accessible as it should be?
Like a lot of things in life, the more times you do it the better it gets – we’ve done a lot of leaflets!
We’ve produced accommodation guides, trail guides, circular walk leaflets, attractions leaflets ...
Nothing can beat that lovely moment when you open a box of newly printed glossy leaflets and unfold the first one ... especially if you haven’t done all the hard work.
